About Kirsten

Kirsten Polson has been a registered Osteopath since 1992 and is a member of the GOsC. Kirsten had been operating her own Clinic in Bishopbriggs since 1995 and after the birth of her first child in 2006 joined the Lenzie Osteopathic Clinic in August 2007.

After graduating in London in 1992 Kirsten worked as an Osteopath in Paisley and in

the Buckingham Clinic in Glasgow and during this time gained extensive experience, before opening her Clinic in Bishopbriggs. Kirsten also trained as an Acupuncturist in 1995 and may sometimes use this to enhance and complement Osteopathic treatments.

Kirsten’s treatment usually comprises of a variety of techniques. Primarily, massage and deep soft tissue work alongside joint mobilisation and osteopathic manipulative techniques. Treatment is suitable for all age groups as it is tailored to each individual patient. Kirsten will usually give exercise or postural advice as necessary and particularly enjoys the challenge of treating chronic problems.
